The Umbilical Cord is removed from the Placenta, double rinsed and dehydrated for placement in a baby book / baby keepsake box or display.
Often shaped into a heart, spiral, first letter of Baby’s name or to spell out the word Love (length dependent).
Keepsake can be left natural or painted gold. Always placed in a cellophane bag after processing for preservation.
